How does reporting work for free Call Time Tracker users

 

Please note that the free Call Time Tracker service is being discontinued at the end of January 2011 and is being replaced by a paid service.

 

Q.  How do I request the report from my handset?

A.  You open our app, click on "My Reporting", and hit the "Request Excel Report" button.  Unless you are within your first 5 days of using the app, you don't have to worry about setting the start and end dates because we will automatically send you the previous month's report.  You can do this at any time, as many times as you need to, and you will always receive last month’s data.

 

Q.  Will you send me a reminder at the end of the month?

A.  Yes, if you have used the service during the month you should receive an email reminder that your report is ready to be requested.  But you don’t need to wait for that in order to request your report.

 

Q.  How do I get a copy of my report (for example I may have lost it)?

For the previous month’s report, see above.

For any other report, e.g. a report from an older month, or a report covering perhaps the last year, you will need to upgrade (instructions on how to do that are below).

 

Q.  Exactly when is the end-of-month report available to me?

A.  It is ready to be requested on the first day of the month.

 

Q.  What happens if I am a new Call Time Tracker user in my first 5 days?  Don’t I get real-time reporting for the first 5 days?

A.  Yes, and that isn’t changing.  So for the first 5 days you can request a report whenever you need one, and you can set the start and end dates to be whatever you like.  After 5 days, it reverts to a report at the end of each month, or you can upgrade.

Q.  I want real-time reports, and I want to go back in time to get historical data more than one month old, how do I upgrade?

A.  Really easy.  Simply pick up your Blackberry and send a blank email to 9minutes@widality.com to get the upgrade instructions.
