momentem is prompting me for a password – why, and what do I do?

 

If momentem says “Failed: security issue” or is asking you for a password, here’s why, and what to do.

 

When you registered our application for the first time we matched up your email address with your handset and mobile number to create your account.  As a security measure, if any of those change (for example if you swap a SIM card or download the app to a new handset and attempt to register with the same email address as before) the app will prompt you for a password.

 

That password was sent to you when you registered the application for the first time.  If you can find that email, you will see your password within it.

 

If you can’t find the password, or if you have exceeded your attempt limit and you find yourself locked out, simply visit www.momentem.net/password.asp and you can reset your password within minutes.

 

We are planning to offer you the ability to change your password to something memorable to you, in Q1 of 2011.

 

If this fails or you don’t have that email or the password, please contact Support.
