My BlackBerry call
log or text messages or other personal data have been wiped.
This is nothing to do with our application.
This issue occurs if your BlackBerry is
running low on memory. The BlackBerry OS
has a memory conservation service that starts to look for ways to conserve
memory usage once a certain threshold is surpassed. The loss of call logs, text
messages or other personal data are common symptoms of this. Your installation of our app may have
contributed to the memory problem. You
should check the available memory on your device to ensure that there is at
least 250KB free after installing our app (we suggest that there be 500KB free
prior to installation).
Also, sometimes applications or other
services can have memory leaks that consume available memory over time. These can be cleared by rebooting the phone
by removing the battery for 30 seconds and then replacing it. If this does not free up sufficient memory,
then you may have to delete some of your installed apps or employ other memory
management techniques (outside the scope of this knowledgebase article).
